Proprietor Duncan Aydlett grew up in Elizabeth City and started in this business during his summers off from Elon College. After graduating in 1985, he dedicated himself to his work. After working with other companies to gain experience Lightning Marine Construction started in 1991. With twenty years of experience, Lightning Marine Construction has worked with most of the major construction companies on the Outer Banks. Those long standing relationships do not mean Lightning Marine Construction won't work with individual homeowners. From light residential to full service commercial jobs, Lightning Marine Construction is your one source for all water construction needs.
